I have had real panic on board, racing heart and loss of control.

There is preventive work to be done on that: breathing, directing attention, fixed routines of action for the moment things get tight. That is craft, and it helps a great many people.

Recurring panic attacks are something else. Those belong in front of a doctor, and if a panic disorder lies behind them, they belong in treatment. We would then work alongside at most, in parallel with the treatment and by agreement. It cannot be trained away, and anyone offering you that is deceiving you.
