What are your qualifications?

Nautical: Sporthochseeschifferschein, the highest German leisure qualification (broadly equivalent to RYA Yachtmaster Ocean), the long range certificate (LRC, which includes the short range certificate) and the UBI, the German radio certificate for inland waterways, plus RYA Yachtmaster Offshore with commercial endorsement, RYA Cruising Instructor Sail and RYA Navigation Instructor.

Professional: entrepreneur, experienced management trainer, publicly appointed and sworn expert for marketing and business communication, and many years in adult education as director of studies at the Bavarian Academy for Advertising and Marketing and on the board of the Bavarian Academy for Business Communication.

Youth work: a former basketball player, and a coach of youth teams up to regional league level.

Mental training: mental trainer C licence of the German Mental Trainer Academy — September 2026, trained under Michael Draksal at the Deutsche Mentaltrainer-Akademie.
