Kapitel: Who mental training helps

What is in it for us commercially?

Four things: a higher pass rate, because many students fail not on ability but on exam nerves, panic about leaving the berth, or going blank in a manoeuvre. Fewer withdrawals, because anxious customers drop out. A distinguishing feature against the school down the road. And satisfied graduates who recommend you and come back for the […]

Are you taking business away from us?

No. We start precisely where your ticket ends. At that stage nobody needs further nautical training; they need to transfer what they have learned into practice.

How can this be built into our programme?

As a module within a course, for instance an evening on exam nerves in your day skipper course. As a separate add-on, particularly the mental harbour manoeuvre training. Or as a joint package. That is your contribution and your calling card. Beyond that there are modules that take individual athletes further. Those also run through you, but they are paid for by the […]

Why should our club offer mental training?

For performance-minded clubs, mental training is not a luxury, it is a required part of development. Anyone wanting to think and act like a professional cannot leave it out. Without that component, your development programme has a hole in it. There is a very practical argument on top: it fills the off-season. One training session […]
